Everything you need without the extra bulk

These are really light and strong minimalist helmets that look great and fit like a glove without any hot or pressure points on my skull. The rachet adjustment is quick and easy although I think MIPS is a bit of a marketing gimmick and I LOVE the mega secure google strap on the back. I like that you can unclip the ear covering for warm spring riding and fidlock was the right way to go. The fold-in covers on the vents are simple and easy to adjust for those hot days when you need the vents open, again it's minimalist and simple...fewer moving parts that can get stuck. In the greedy world of overpriced snow-sports helmets it's nice to find a high-quality product that'll protect your noggin for a great price. fyi: my smith mag goggles fit just fine.
