MIPS
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology comes standard in all Pret X helmets. MIPS sets the highest standard in helmet protection and safety using a low-friction slip plane designed to rotate inside the helmet, absorbing rotational energy and reducing the tearing effect on the brain. Not all MIPS systems are the same. Pret uses only the latest C2 system for the lightest weight and best fit.
RCS
Part of how we achieve Pret's comfortable and dynamic fit is through our unique Ripcord System (RCS) adjustment. This micro-adjustable, compact, and ergonomic system guarantees the perfect inside fit and shape with 4cm of adjustment in every shell size. Need to make a quick size change? You can instantly release the RCS by pulling the adjustment dial out.
