Staying Present Through Training: Christopher Noone’s Disposable Camera Diary

Wake Up Call
My wake-up time changes depending on the schedule, ranging from around 4 am for filming days, 6 am for competition days, and closer to 8 am on regular days. After breakfast, I like to take some time to read or write down what I hope to accomplish that day. Once I’m ready, I stretch before heading out.

The Rituals
I don’t follow any strict rituals, but I do journal quite often. It helps me stay present, reflect on where I am in my journey, and think about how I want to continue moving forward.

A Special Day At Lake Louise
I started the day at 8, did my morning stretch and drove from Banff to Lake Louise. Didn’t get much snow for a while so it was an icy day. Took a couple laps on the backside to warm up the legs on some cliffs, then headed to the park. The park is one of my favorites and is always running smooth. Ended it a bit early and went ice skating on Lake Louise for the first time. Definitely glad I picked up skiing and not hockey, not too good on the skates lol. Got some hot chocolate and called it a day from there!

Improving Just 1%
The most rewarding part of my day can come in many forms - whether its learning a new trick, pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, improving even just one percent, getting a sick clip, or simply doing everything in my control to grow and become better in different areas of my life.
Ending the Send
I usually end my day by relaxing and watching Netflix.
