Wyatt & Riley: From NICU Fighters to Snowboard Cross Champions

Identical twin brothers, Wyatt and Riley Denkers are no strangers to overcoming challenges. Born 13 weeks premature and diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, their early years were filled with surgeries, treatments, and medications. For years, intense medical routines kept them from pursuing their snowboarding dreams.
Then came Trikafta—a groundbreaking medication that changed everything. Now 15 years old, Wyatt and Riley are thriving. Riley is ranked 2nd overall in USASA snowboard cross, and Wyatt holds an impressive 15th place. Both are the first athletes with CF to compete at the FIS level, with Riley earning the highest finish for a 15-year-old this season.

Wyatt and Riley have had to fight harder than most to push through their limits of sickness, cold temperatures, and high altitudes. Their ultimate goal? The 2034 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. They also aim to inspire others with CF, showing that a fulfilling and active life truly is possible.
"Life is hard, especially with CF," the brothers say. "Keep doing your treatments, don’t get your head down, and you can live a long, fun life."

SUPPORTING CYSTIC FIBROSIS

Pret is proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and we are giving you the chance to help us give back. We have worked with the CF Foundation to create the CFF 65 Helmet. For each purchase, Pret will donate approximately 20% of the sale back to the CF Foundation.

WHY THE ROSE GRAPHIC?

The design of this Pret Helmet was inspired by the term "65 Roses", often used by young children with cystic fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease.
